The Lake Fork of the Arkansas is fun little fishery and while there is a tailwater section right below turquoise lake, it is small and the majority of the fishable water is above the lake.  You can fish both the tailwater, halfmoon creek nearby and above turquoise lake and the lake itself.  Tennessee creek and the east fork of the arkansas have some access as well.  There are some small to medium sized fish in the river and beginner to advanced anglers can often find trout in this river without too much effort.  It is absolutely beautiful and if you hunt mushrooms, is also a great place to explore from June to August.
